Really enjoyed your first podcast, Jess!!! It was nice listening to you, Erin and Rebecca talk and share. . I think you're all so lovely in every way. . i encourage you all in your jobs and your relationships with others to continue to radiate the beauty of Jesus . . which further enhances your own natural beauty! My first exposure to make up was not from any tips my mother gave me, cuz she didn't wear make up. . however, she did let me join a 'beauty club'. . i got kits every month of make up, which thrilled me. . i taught myself how to apply it, she bought me a vanity with a giant mirror and a silk covered bench, where i sat to experiment with my new stuff! I also went downtown with a girlfriend and we were to the big department store there. . (Eaton's - a Canadian version of Macy's) and one of the cosmetic counter ladies did my make up. . It was so fun. and when i got home my dad said i was lovely!! good memories!!

Thanks to the 3 of you for sharing your thoughts and stories. I've met a couple of you and to me you are beautiful and confident women, and it is encouraging to hear that even so, you still have the same insecurities that I do and so many other women do but don't really talk about. So, thanks for being open and sharing!
